A Chance For Romance, Congress Champion in Jr. Hunter Hack
A Chance for Romance, aka Chance, is a 2006 16.2 hh, Dark Bay AQHA Stallion owned by Amy Brosch of Sorrento, Florida. Chance’s sire is the late, World and Congress Champion Luke At Me and his dam is Miss Patricia Lark. Miss Patricia Lark is a world champion producer and full sister to Superhorse, Regal Lark. Regal Lark is by another Superhorse, Rugged Lark. Needless to say Chance has a royal pedigree and he has started early living up to his linage.
He had a successful career as a young futurity horse. He was in the Top Ten at the Congress in HUS lounge line and also the two year old Open HUS futurity.
Under the guidance of World Champion trainer Sandra Vaughn he earned dozens of points in multiple events. Chance contiues his training at Sandy’s facility in Hernando, Florida.
At the 2010 All-American Quarter Horse Congress Chance was Congress Champion in Junior Hunter Hack, Reserve Champion in Junior Pleasure driving and earned top ten, in Green Working Hunter, Junior Working Hunter, Open Performance Halter Stallions, and Limited Open Performance Halter Stallions.
Chance qualified in 6 events for the 2010 AQHA World Championship show. At the world show he placed in the top five in Progressive Working Hunter, Junior Working Hunter and Junior Pleasure Driving. He was in the top ten in Open Performance Halter Stallions and Junior Hunter Hack. Along the way Chance has won numerous circuit championships and earned many AQHA points.
Chance exhibits versatility and is quiet and very trainable which is necessary for a horse that will be doing many events. He passes his mind and his talent on to his foals. His first foals will showing in 2011 so it will be exciting to see how they progress.
