Southern Equine Connection

The Invitational Select World Championship Show will be held August 29, through September 5,  in Amarillo, Texas. Amarillo is the home to the American Quarter Horse Association, the world’s largest equine breed association.

The Select division is for exhibitors age 50 and over.  The qualification period for this year’s show ended May 31.   Qualifiers began receiving their invitations around the first part of July.  Entries have to be in to AQHA by August 2. 

Just qualifying is an accomplishment but getting to go to Amarillo and compete is such a privilege.  Exhibitors will be vying for great prizes and money.
