This fall and winter there have been  several accidents or near accidents during Pleasure Driving classes at Quarter Horse shows.    Is there some reason for so many problems or is it normal for this class?

Obviously any time you hook a horse to something there is an opportunity for trouble.  Are there steps that can be taken to decrease the dangers during the driving classes?   It seems to me this is a problem that needs to be addressed.
