Southern Equine Connection

The Sugar Bowl Classic Quarter Horse Show was held December 26 – 31, 2009, in West Monroe, Lousiana.   It was a great show!   The Ike Hamilton Expo Center is a great facility,  everything is inside, stalls, wash racks with heated water, work arenas, concession stand, stall and show offices, Vendors, literally everything. 

 The classes were large especially the trail and pleasure.  The show secretary and show manager did a great job being sure all exhibitors had a great time.  There was a team tournament with great prizes.  There were circuit awards and also all-around awards given away. 

Off the show grounds there was great Louisiana cuisine to be found at the many restaurants near the areana.
